Tibet - Copper partially gilded and natural pigments - height 15,5 - 12th century Pala style

 Depicting the transcendent bodhisattva standing on narrow base fashioned after a single lotus flower, adorned with jewels, crown and the tall hairdo that characterise the order; the left hand 'varamudra' gesture signals the satisfaction of wishes, while the right hand holds a vine ending in a lotus flower and a its attribute or 'vajra'. Red, gold and blue pigments visible on the face and hair.
